AICE Media Studies

    My name is Vanessa Scholey and I am currently in Fort Lauderdale High School in the 10th grade. I love to read books and have a pretty extensive library at home. Some of my favorite authors are HDA Roberts, Rick Riordan, Helen Gosney, and Kel Kade. My idea of a perfect day is sitting on the porch, reading a book with a blanket and a warm drink.      I also really enjoy political and social debate, especially on topics I am particularly passionate about. I don't have much official debate experience but I hope to include this interest in my future career path in some way.  I think equality, education, and the  environment  are some of the most important issues of our time.  My biggest flaws are probably that I have very high expectations of myself and the people around me, I sometimes find it difficult to motivate myself, and I often say stuff without thinking about it.       One of my greatest fears is ending up s...
