Title Research: Watch the Titles Website

This website is used to research past opening sequences. I am looking to expand my knowledge of past precedent and international references for opening sequences. This site includes opening sequences from professionals, specifically listing studios, directors and films. You can also find amateur and student opening sequences. Even examples from other forms of media like video games and TV shows. Theres also a section from French films during the 1950s - 1980s, a legendary time and area for opening sequences. I've learned opening sequences should establish main characters and eventually serve as a version of the film's branding. Novelty, names, and faces should be brought by a film's opening sequence. I am using this website to find examples and explanations for past successes. I am also looking for inspiration in terms of design.
