Planning Storyboard: Humira

Image
Scene #1 -  The commercial will begin with the actor depicting a patient [patient x] suffering from abdominal pain due to Crohn's disease. The scene will feature this actor standing or walking at first before transitioning to a sitting posture. The actor will be smiling or laughing with someone(s) on/off screen and suddenly be overwhelmed with symptoms of their illness. They will then excuse themselves and walk away to sit down.  This scene will be filmed mostly with full shot and will then gradually reverse zoom or track out. The intent of this scene is to establish the seriousness of the ailment and how it might effect patients in real life. It is used to treat arthritis, plaque psoriasis, ankylosing spondylitis, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis. This occurs through the suppresses or minimization of symptoms of the illness or condition.  The commercials use a wide variety of actors without specification towards race, age, gender, or any other physical determination. Actors tend to be able bodied and relatively attractive. Many of these commercials attempt to be diverse in order to appeal to a wider audience. The costumes may include but are not limited to casual wear, sports wear, formal attire, and lounge wear. Props vary by scene but often include comfort items like food, blankets, a...
