Starting The Final Task

My name is Vanessa S and I am a 10th grader at Fort Lauderdale High School in Flordia. I enjoy reading, volleyball, and have recently begun to enjoy puzzles. Over the past few months, which have been in quarantine due to COVID-19, I have been learning about media and the processes that go with it from a distance. I have discovered that the most difficult part of any project is the content. Determing how you start and where you go next isn't always easy. I hope this project will allow me to grow in that regard. For this project I will be working alone. This is for several reasons. Mainly do the the risk of group projects during a pandemic . My family and I would prefer to limit our interaction with others as much as possible and working with several other classmates is a luxury we cannot afford. I feel many of my classmates have the same concerns. COVID-19 has also made it difficult to become close friends with new classmates as interaction has been limited. As such, I am not well acquainted with any one in particular in any of my classes. I couldn't tell you the faces or names of most of the students I'm in class with. I do, however, often speak with many of them over social media. I also choose to do this project alone because of coördination issues. It can be difficult to find the time and the place to meet. Difficulties like distance, opposing schedules, earlier plans, and uncooperative parents may arise that cause delays in our progress and hinder our project. Disagreements on the project's content may also cause issues. All partners should have an equal say as they are all doing equal work. However, this can also result in conflicts over different ideas on the direction of the project. Because COVID limited our interaction, I don't know anyone very well and am not sure how well we would work in a group. For these reasons I am choosing to work alone on this project.
