Title Research: Art of the Title Website

I am looking at this site to help determine what makes an opening sequence succesful. Measuring how interesting an opening sequence is and making it as effective as possible is a difficult task. This website uses examples from existing films and opening sequences to help break it down. It explores the biggest hits of every genre and what made their opening sequences so successful. This site allows you to explore very films, studios, and directors so you can read about their best opening sequences. I've discovered the key to a well-made opening sequence is suspense. You have to interest the viewer, but leave their curiosity unsatisfied. No matter the genre: humor, horror, action, romance, you need to attract them with a mystery that have to solve. Viewers should have questions after an opening sequence; Who killed them? Why did they break up? Why is she crying? What happened to their parents? This should all be done without spoiling the plot.
