Recording New Footage

Over the past several days, I've started to film additional footage. Some of the scenes are from the original storyboard. Like always, I've also recorded several additional scenes that may or may not be included. The inspiration for the additional scenes are spontaneous and completely improvised. They are only recorded because of an idea I get at a certain location due to details in my surroundings. I have altered several scenes from the storyboard slightly as well. For example, I have recorded a scene from a new perspective that lends context to preexisting scenes. The main reason I have been filming new/additional scenes is to insure I have enough footage to make the 2 minute marker. I belive I will have attended that time at the end of the filming process. When I filmed, I wanted to make sure to use a few actors as possible to make filming as COVID friendly as possible. Therefore, the majority of the scenes in my final project only include the main actor. We moved between locations and even around each filming area to get all the shots. None of the locations have changed since over the last couple of days, but soon we will be moving to another one of the original locations. I am planning on using voiceover for most of the scenes involving dialogue to get better sound quality. My music choice still has not been decided. I'm considering using non-lyrical music but have not found what that i like yet. I will defiantly be using royalty free songs due to time constraints and potential failure. I plan on choosing music after reviewing all my footage at the end of the filming process. I'm really looking forward to editing. This project has been the longest in terms of filming time. I usually film all the footage within a week but with this project filming has been over 4 to 5 weeks. Because of this, I'm really excited to see the result after editing.
